The sandwiches are really good and the salads are delicious as well. I frequent a lot of the local convenience stores and without a doubt deans makes some of the best sandwiches. The only drawback is at the height of summer the lines tend to get long but that's not uncommon for such a well liked store.

I am always looking for a great deli sandwich with fresh ingredient. I tried Dean's yesterday and think overall it was just okay. I went in around lunch time and it was very busy. I had to wait about fifteen minutes which was somewhat expectable considering the other reviews. Consistent with other reviews the meat and cheese is pre-cut and portioned out. However the ingredients appeared fresh and were tasty. I was disappointed to learn they do not serve/make meatballs on the weekend, so instead of the meatball sub I was excited to try I went with the Gloucester Beef instead. The meat and cheese were fresh;however the horseradish sauce was over powering. The sub roll was a little disappointing in that it was not very wide. I would go again, but it is certainly not the best deli sub.

Sandwiches were pretty good, but not worth going there. They pre-portion the meat so every sandwich is exactly the same. Not sure how long ago it was sliced, that day? The day before? Who knows? The girls who work behind the deli counter are missing something, a personality! And Dean, the OWNER, could not have been more rude and actually argued with me about the type of sandwich I got. Not an establishment that prides themselves on customer service. And to quote Dean, "we have the BEST sandwiches around. Just look at the long line!" I beg to differ, it's the lazy, poor service of the bored, miserable kids behind the counter. I'll never give Dean my business again. He was rude to almost everyone on line in front of us as well.

Dean's is a great market with a wide selection of treats. From snacks to books to liquor, this is the perfect stop for essentials, especially if you're heading to the beach down the road!! It's convenient, has a friendly staff, and has almost everything you're looking for to stack up on and to snack on. Dean's also has a deli that serves up sandwiches and salads. Make your own and turn around from the deli counter to select out a salad, like potato salad, and grab a drink. An important note: Dean's stops making sandwiches at 4pm so be sure to go in before then to get your goods!!

Great market and deli. I go there everyday for lunch. Always have 2 specials, homemade soups and chowder. All subs 7.29 and freshly made to order. THE STAFF is extremely friendly and don't forget to tip because they earn it!

I have been here twice, both time extreme satisfied. Subs are huge for only $6.99. Service is quick although it gets pretty packed during lunch time. Meatball sub is by far my favorite. Bread is perfect, sauce is perfect- add a little provolone cheese and you've got yourself a winner. I've also tried the tortellini salad which went perfect with my sub for only $2.23 but I can't wait to try their Mac & cheese next time and the blazing buffalo sub!

Deans Market is a great market with a pretty good wine and beer selection; but the best part is the deli. They have many great sandwiches with high quality meats and the sub rolls are the best my family and I have ever tasted. Super fresh!
